My Brother Knights,GrandKnight

Maria and I wish you and your families a very Merry and Blessed Christmas and a joyous Christmas season.

The knights of council 2179 have been very busy over the last month distributing food for Thanksgiving and gifts for Christmas to those families in need. You brought joy and good cheer to our parish and community with the very successful selling of Christmas trees and worked with BSA on the selling of wreaths. We also distributed gifts to the two seminarians we support. We voted in 3 new members to our council and they took their virtual degree. We welcome to our council, our new 3rd degree knights: Dominic Fecteau, Michael Pelczar and Matt Dwyer.

You continue to assist at all Masses at St. Michael’s and St. Mary’s.

Bob Jones also delivered our council’s gift to Father Marc commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Knights of Columbus at St. Michael parish in Exeter.

Dear John, and MyBrother Knights,

What a peasant surprize to receive the beautiful chalice commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Knights of Columbus at St. Michael Parish in Exeter.

The Knights have been such a powerful examples to me and to so many. Your good deeds are known throughout the world, your prayerful love for the unborn and your spirir of prayer continue to bring hope during these challenging times.

Whenever someone is in need, you are there to bring comfort to the afflicted and hope to those in despair. Fr. Michael McGivney continues to impact our church through all of you.

Know that I am appreciative for all you have done for me personally and for the parish during my last 11 years.

I now work with a marvelous group of Knights here in Salem who came to my aid day after my arrival. Together we were able to fill a 30 foot dumpster in a matter of hours.

Have a wonderful Christmas Season and know that I will use the chalice with thoughts and prayers for all of you.

In His Joy,
Fr. Marc
